What does the group do?

This is a guided group and consists of a warm up, a gentle Tai Chi walk, 18 moves standing up & 14 moves sitting down. The group leaders are not qualified Tai Chi instructors and they run this group for your enjoyment. It is your responsibility as a member of this group to ensure that you do not put yourself at risk. If you experience any problems with the moves then you can adapt them. If it is difficult to do the moves standing up then feel free to sit down and do what you can.

The feedback we have received from members is that it has helped with their balance and upper arm strength; some have said it has helped their breathing.

Equipment required
Just comfortable clothing, soft shoes, socks or bare feet.
